The iconic Hopmarket on The Foregate has been a place to do business since 1731 when it became Worcester’s Hopmarket and where dealers came to trade hops.  In the early 1900s the site was replaced with the current building to become a hotel and bank before being converted to the shopping courtyard which we see today.

Just a minute’s walk from Foregate Street Station, the Hopmarket is home to cafes, hairdresser, florist and shops selling clothes, knitting wool, herbal medicines, leather goods, trophies, dance wear and special gifts.
